It was one fine day and I met a girl, with big round eyes and hairs with curl.
She was of different kind, and I was just love blind.
I touched her heart, she touched mine; and we were in love in no time!
Those unforgettable dine, a cocktail or just wine.
It was one fine day and I met a girl…
But all seems lost when we started fight; blurred our beautiful night.
I know I was not right; but can we now make it alright?
It was one fine day and I met a girl…
Why we hurt the person we love the most?
Why we make a person cry, whom actually we want to give all the happiness?
Why we see her crying and don’t give her hug?
Why?
Friends, it was one fine day and I met a girl; she was like pearl but I was dust whirl.
I met a girl
I know it would never be the same…
I know it would never be the same,
and for all the sin i should take the blame.
Remembering those lovely days, your songs that all says.
Holding your hand, caressing your hair;
Long talks and beautiful moments to share !
But I know it would never be the same,
and for all the sin i should take the blame.
The heart that skips a bit on your call, and the world that feels so small.
Seems like I’ve been waiting for you so long;
but not sure if it was wrong !
And I know it would never be the same,
and for all the sin i should take the blame.
When I’m seating all alone, wish my feelings are known.
Your smile, your lips, your happiness, your pain;
What is sane and who insane?
Yeh, I know it would never be the same,
and for all the sin i should take the blame.
I wish I could tell you to come into my life for forever, But I know it’s not gonna happen ever.
Can’t stop my love, my feelings;
and all the hopes and day dreamings !
But ya ya, I know it would never be the same,
and for all the sin i should take the blame.
Robbery in Hong Kong
During a recent robbery in Hong Kong, the bank robber shouted to everyone in the bank: “Don’t move. The money belongs to the Government. Your life belongs to you.” Everyone in the bank laid down quietly. This is called “Mind Changing Concept” Changing the conventional way of thinking.
When a lady lay on the table provocatively, the robber shouted at her: “Please be civilized! This is a robbery and not a rape!” This is called “Being Professional” Focus only on what you are trained to do!
When the bank robbers returned home, the younger robber (MBA trained) told the older robber (who has only completed Year 6 in primary school): “Big brother, let’s count how much we got.” The older robber rebutted and said: “You are very stupid. There is so much money it will take us a long time to count. Tonight, the TV news will tell us how much we robbed from the bank!” This is called “Experience” Nowadays, experience is more important than paper qualifications!
After the robbers had left, the bank manager told the bank supervisor to call the police quickly. But the supervisor said to him: “Wait! Let us take out $10 million from the bank for ourselves and add it to the $70 million that we have previously embezzled from the bank”. This is called “Swim with the tide” Converting an unfavorable situation to your advantage!
The supervisor says: “It will be good if there is a robbery every month.” This is called “Changing priority” Personal Happiness is more important than your job”.
The next day, the TV news reported that $100 million was taken from the bank. The robbers counted and counted and counted, but they could only count $20 million. The robbers were very angry and complained: “We risked our lives and only took $20 million. The bank manager took $80 million with a snap of his fingers. It looks like it is better to be educated than to be a thief!” This is called “Knowledge is worth as much as gold!”
The bank manager was smiling and happy because his losses in the share market are now covered by this robbery. This is called “Seizing the opportunity” Daring to take risks!
Mumbai- the city of million dreams
I am true Mumbaikar and in love with this beautiful city. Many people come here to live their dreams. Here I want to share some pictures that I have taken while taking walk from Charni Road to Chruchgate at the evening.
Taking cool evening breeze, you will feel very happy, peaceful and energetic. You won’t feel to go back to home.
These waves of sea are telling something..don’t listen, just feel.
If your heart is heavy come here, seat with the sea. Tell everything to him…he will listen calmly just like best friend.
The start of many unwritten love stories ♥
And the queen’s necklace….
Love you Mumbai ♥
La Festa – First good experience with IRCTC
Last week I went to Mumbai for short holiday (Only 3 days 😦 ) However it was short, it refreshed my mind. The smell of Vada Pav and Chaat in Mumbai always makes me hungry! There is phrase that states “We never know the true value of a thing unless we lose it.” The same thing is happening with me. When I was in Mumbai, I never realized “How precious Vada Pav is!”
I am writing this blog especially to describe my experience with IRCTC’s new Fast food restaurant – La Festa. This fast food restaurant is opened on Andhari railway station on East side. I visited there on last Friday and I was impressed with all the quality, quantity, rate and service.
Considering previous track record of the IRCTC service I entered the restaurant with confused face (Looking nice from outside but what will be inside?? :O)
But my eyes widen after having look at inside. Specious place, nicely arranged chairs, fresh environment, clean washbasin and that too in restaurant ran by Indian railway! I took one place with my friend and first thing was two glasses of water on our table without late! And the next moment Menu Card was on our table. Nicely printed, you also have a look…
I checked the menu and surprised to see the rates! Wohh…Vada Pav @10Rs! (My blood pressure was at peak when I asked the Vada Pav rate in Inorbit mall, Hyderabad – 26Rs + tax) Also I saw French fries on menu card 🙂
I ordered Vada pav, Pav bhaji and Spicy French fries. The waiter brought the order and 3-4 tissue papers, which was really impressive. Taste of all the items was over expected. Then I thought of making experiment on Cold coffee with Ice cream and that too had good outcome 🙂 Again the waiter offered couple of tissue papers!
And the bill was only 149Rs! I personally thanked the guy for good hospitality before leaving the place. You also visit this place once and surprise by good service by IRCTC!
Excel – Match columns in multiple Files to retrieve other column
Many time you want to retrieve a column by matching the columns which are in different excel files. I am giving you a simple way to do that. The vlookup is very useful function in Excel. The vlookup stands for “vertical lookup”.
Consider there are two excel files viz, Book1.xlsx and Book2.xlsx as below.
Book1.xlsx
Book2.xlsx
As you can see both the files has same elements in first column but in different order. Consider that we want to retrieve the second column in Book2.xlsx by matching elements in first columns of both the files.
vlookup can easily do this:
I will explain the vlookup function with all the parameters:
=VLOOKUP(A1,[Book1.xlsx]Sheet1!$A:$B,2,FALSE)
A1 – Column in Book2 which you want to map with Book1
Book1.xlsx – Name of other excel sheet we want to map
Sheet1 – Sheet1 of Book1 which contains the table
SA:SB – Columns of the Book1 sheet1
2 – Column number in Book1 which you want to map
FALSE – Ignorecase
After giving vlookup for first row you can tab out and then I will ask to select the file, select Book1.xlsx. As you select you will get required value in the second column.
Then just copy the cell B1 and paste in all the cells B2 through B9 and you will get all the required values matched with Book1.xlsx.
This will save lot of your time while working with thousand of records in Excel.
